Nationwide mass vaccination campaign against Covid-19 continues for the second day in full swing with crowds thronging different inoculation centres across the country on Sunday.

Health staff struggled to manage large crowds at vaccination centres and follow vaccination protocols. Social distancing norms went for a toss while monitoring of beneficiaries for adverse effects of the vaccine was not possible due to the large crowds.

A six-day countrywide COVID-19 mass vaccination campaign began on Saturday to control the ongoing surge of the coronavirus pandemic.

The mass vaccination campaign started simultaneously at 4,600 unions, 1,054 wards under municipalities and 12 city corporations, including Dhaka.
