The fattest man, 40-year-old Makhon Mia, died of abnormal weight at a hospital in Brahmanbaria on Monday night.

The deceased, who weighed 300 kilograms, son of Milon Mia, hailing from Dakshin Mourail of Municipality, breathed his last at Brahmanbaria 250-bed General Hospital around 10:00 pm.

According to Makhon’s family sources, that he was suffering from respiratory and heart problems for several days.

On Monday, family members of Makhon rushed him to emergency department of the hospital as his condition worsened where duty doctor declared Makhon dead.

He left behind his wife, two children and a host of well wishers to mourn his death.
