A mild to moderate cold wave, the first one of the season, is sweeping over the country, disrupting normal life mostly in the northern districts. The lowest temperature of the country was recorded at 8.3 degree Celsius at Tetulia in Panchagarh on Wednesday.
A mild to moderate temperature is sweeping over Srimangal, Tetulia, Rajarhat and Chudanga in the country, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
The day and night temperatures across the country may remain unchanged.
The weather may change slightly in the next four days, it said.
On Tuesday, the lowest temperature was recorded 7.1 degree Celsius in Tetulia.
Meanwhile, cold-related disease has increased in the winter season. Elderly people and children have been suffering from runny nose, cough and diarrhoea.
