Member of Parliament from Satkhira-2 constituency Mir Mostak Ahmed Robi tested positive for coronavirus.

He was found infected with the virus in the corona test at the PCR Lab of Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) on Sunday night.

Satkhira Civil Surgeon Dr Hussain Shafayet confirmed the matter to media.

Besides, family sources said that the ruling AL MP left Satkhira for Dhaka for better treatment.

He also urged to the countrymen to pray to Allah for his early recovery.
