He made the remark joining a workshop in Narayanganj city virtually from London as the chief guest on Wednesday (December 18).
The workshop was organized by the BNP at Missionpara in Narayanganj city in the afternoon.
Tarique Rahman alleged that “some people are trying to undermine our achievements for their own interest. So, we have to give a befitting reply to the local and foreign conspirators through the implementation of our 31-point demands.”
The BNP Acting Chairman observed that the next election would be harder. “Not only the one election, we will have to take preparations for the next election. We will have to explain to people and uphold their faith in us. In spite of being the victims of repression and tortures over the last 15 years, BNP has not stopped talking in favour of people. So, we should not give any scope to anyone to realise personal gains.”With Narayanganj City BNP Convener Advocate Sakhawat Hossain Khan in the chair, the workshop was attended by BNP Chairperson’s adviser and Public Administration Reforms Committee member Ismail Zabiullah, Aamra BNP Paribar convener Atiqur Rahman Rumon, BNP leaders Mahmuda Habiba, Md Abdus Sattar Patwari, BNP central committee’s International Affairs secretary Nazrul Islam Azad and City BNP’s member secretary Advocate Abu Al Yusuf Khan Tipu and leaders and workers of different levels of local BNP.
