Shawdesh Desk: An owner of a private clinic in Harinakunda upazila of Jhenaidah allegedly raped a nurse of the clinic in several phases over the last three months after promising her to merry.

The victim filed a case accusing two people including the owner of the clinic with Harinakunda Police Station on Wednesday noon.

Police and victim source said that the woman has been working in the clinic as a nurse for last seven months. But, the owner of the clinic raped the girls several phases over the last three months after promising her to merry. At one stage, the girls become pregnant and requested the owner to marry her. Refusing to marry her, the owner forced the victim to abort the child before 14/15 days.
Officer-in-charge of Harinakunda Police Station Asadujjaman said the victim has been sent to hospital for tests.

Measures will be taken to arrest the accused as soon as possible, he said.
