Protest at Ctg court over Chinmoy: 65 lawyers get bail

A court in Chittagong has granted bail to 65 lawyers in a case filed over an attack on the court centering the release of former ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das.
Chittagong Metropolitan PP Adv Mofizul Haque Bhuiyan on Monday confirmed that the 65 lawyers granted bail on surrender.
On November 26, last year, ISKCON activists clashed with police on the Chittagong court premises demanding the release of Chinmoy Krishna. During the clash, a lawyer was killed, 12 police personnel were injured and a police vehicle was vandalized.
Later, three case were filed over the issue.
