Referring to the Government Servants (Conduct) Rules, the Ministry of Public Administration in a notice said that if anyone violates this rule, the official will be held responsible for misconduct and must be prosecuted.

In the notice floated for the media this afternoon, the ministry said two parties within the public administration have already taken to the street to realise their demand for posts, promotion and others.

On one side is the administration cadre, and on the other is the Inter-Cadre Anti-Discrimination Council, comprising 25 cadres, it said.
