Shawdesh Desk: Two neo- Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (Neo-JMB) operatives were arrested over attack launched on police in capital’s Gulistan area in April this year.
Members of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit (CTTC) arrested them from Jatrabari area of the capital city and Narayanganj on Monday (September 23) night.
On Tuesday (September 24) morning, DMP Deputy Commissioner (DC) Masudur Rahman said two members of the neo JMB have been arrested in connection with the attack on police in Gulistan last April.
The details will be revealed at a press conference held at DMP Media Center later on the day he said.
Unidentified assailants blasted a Molotov cocktail at officers who were manning a traffic intersection in the capital on April 30, injuring three of them.
Later, a case has been filed in this connection and the counter-terrorism and transnational crimes unit is investigating the case.
