The BNP is taking preparation to hold a rally in the capital on December 10, on the occasion of Human Rights Day.
It has a plan to include family members of the people, who have been victims of forced disappearance, murder, jail sentence, imprisonment and harassment, according to party sources, in the programme.
Discussions are scheduled with like-minded parties and alliance leaders this week.
BNP and like-minded parties are observing blockade and hartal to mount pressure on the government demanding resignation ahead of upcoming 12th national parliamentary polls.
The ruling Bangladesh Awami League is set to hold a rally on December 10 to mark Human Rights Day.
The rally, under the banner of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League, will be held at the south gate of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at around 3pm.
