Police rescue 4 girls missing from Mirpur

Police rescued the four girls, who went missing from the capital’s Mirpur on September 29, from different areas of the country on Monday night.

The four rescued girls are Zakia, Rhodesi Stella, Jamia and Marina.

They were rescued from Netrokona and the capital’s Sadarghat area on Monday night.

 

Earlier, Zakia and Jamia went missing on September 29 from the Ansar camp area while Rhodesi Stella and Marina had gone missing a house in Janata Housing in Mirpur in the capital on October 3, said Mostafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Mirpur Model Police Station.

“We rescued the girls and no other people were found with them,” the official said, adding that they were investigating the incident.
