The novel coronavirus has killed 932,801 people at 11:40 am till Tuesday (05:40 GMT) in the  213 countries and territories since the virus emerged in China last December, according to latest data from worldometer.

Some 29,448,949 people have contacted with coronavirus. Of them, at least 21,280,193 patients are now considered recovered.

Besides, the number of active cases are 7,233,103.

With the fresh tally in the 48-hour, 8,224 people died from coronavirus while 504,797 corona cases were diagnosed, and 467,601 patients have made fully recovery.

Among the coronavirus affected countries, the US has gone up to 199,000 deaths, followed by Brazil with 132,117; India 80,808; Mexico 71,049; UK 41,637, Italy 35,624; France 30,950; Iran 23,313; Russia 18,635; Indonesia 8,841; Pakistan 6,389; Iraq 8,086; Bangladesh 4,759; Saudi Arabia 4,305 and UAE 399 respectively, worldometer reported.
