The district administration has seized 1,266 sacks of rice at two godowns in Satgari area of Chuadanga on Monday morning. In this case, the godowns has been sealed.

The district administration and food department, led by additional deputy commissioner Monira Parvin, raided two godowns of Nazrul Islam in municipality.

Confirming the matter, additional deputy commissioner Monira Parvin said that the operation was carried out in the godown based on secret information.

Later, Chuadanga Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sadiqur Rahman sealed the godowns.

A three-member committee led by additional deputy commissioner Monira Parvin has been formed to find out the real cause of the incident.
