Fifteen people died from Covid-19 infection in Chattogram district in 24 hours till 8am on Sunday.

Some  933 people tested positive for the virus after testing 3,057 samples at 12 labs during 24 hours. Among the infected, 519 are from the port city and 414 from different upazilas.

The current positivity rate in the district is 30.52 percent, according to Chattogram Civil Surgeon’s office.

A total of 90,521 people were diagnosed with Covid-19 and 1,059 died due to the virus in Chattogram so far.
