“There is no doubt in our hearts in this regard. We are trying our best for it. Our main goal is to hold the election in a free, fair and credible manner,” he said while addressing a workshop in Moulvibazar on Thursday.

The workshop titled ‘Challenges in Voter Registration Process and Ways to Overcome Challenges’ was held at the hall room of Bengal Conversion Centre to enhance the EC’s capacity to use ICT support in the election.

He said the commission would remain impartial during the election and would neither favour nor disfavour any candidate or political party, he said, adding that people would choose their leaders through direct balloting.
