Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal’s Chattogram City committee chief Monwara Begum Moni has been suspended from the party on Saturday night for her involvement in anti-party activities.

Senior Vice-President Fatema Badsha will be serving as the acting president, Mohila Dal said in a statement.

JMD central committee General Secretary Sultana Ahmed confirmed the decision.

Monwara will lose her primary membership and all positions she had been holding as allegations against her have been proven, the statement said.

However, the details of her crimes have not been disclosed.
