A Narayanganj court on Wednesday placed the former Law Minister Anisul Huq on a three-day remand in a case filed over a murder during the July uprising.
Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Md Nur Mohsin issued the order, said court police inspector Kaiyum Khan.
Earlier, police produced Anisul before the court with a 5-day remand.
Ashik Mia, a worker, was shot to death during the student movement on August 5. Later, his mother Kulsum Begum filed a case with Sonargaon Police Station against 112 identified people, including Anisul, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Obaidul Quader, and 300 unidentified people.
