Amid the ongoing debate over whether reforms or elections should come first, Sarjis Alam, a key leader of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, stated that the country’s so-called politicians now see the younger generation as a threat to them.
He made the remarks after visiting a photo exhibition on July mass upsurge held on the Willes Little Flower School and College premises in Kakrail area of Dhaka on Wednesday.
“The so-called politicians are failing to align with the culture and mindset of the young generation, leading them to perceive us as a threat,” he said.
