“Completing the trial of mass killing, implementing reforms and conducting elections are the key tasks of the interim government. As a Law Adviser, my main responsibility is to deal with the trial proceedings of the mass killing,” he said.
He made the remarks on Saturday during the first session of the second day of the national dialogue titled “Unity, Reform and Elections,” organised by the Forum for Bangladesh Studies, at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh auditorium in the capital’s Khamarbari area.
At the beginning of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT), there was no justice or investigation officer, but a prosecution team was formed within a week, he said.
