Kamal Haasan’s new look surprises netizens

The final trailer for the upcoming Telugu blockbuster “Kalki 2898 AD” was released on Friday. Before making it public, this footage was first screened for a select audience during the pre-release event of the movie in Mumbai earlier this week.

The highlight of the latest trailer for “Kalki 2898 AD” is that it sheds more light on Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan’s mysterious role, Supreme Yaskin. Kamal sports a unique look for his character as he takes on the role of the main antagonist in the sci-fi epic.

The filmmakers had only revealed a glimpse of Kamal in the previous trailer, and it pretty much broke the internet. It ramped up the growing anticipation for the movie as it gets ready to hit the screens next week. In the final trailer, Kamal’s Yaskin can be seen in action.

The new footage also provides insights into Prabhas’ character Bhairava. While he plays the role of a reigning champion in bounty hunting in the dystopian setting, he also seems to be the main source of lighter moments in the movie. He cracks one-liners and funny punchlines, adding a pleasant dimension to the all-powerful character.

The new trailer also reveals a slew of visual elements that promise a spectacular cinematic experience for audiences.

Kalki 2989 AD boasts an all-star cast, including Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Anna Ben, Brahmanandam, and Pasupathy, among others. The film is due in cinemas on 27 July.
