The standing committee on pricing and price monitoring of the Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) took the decision at a meeting on Saturday.

As per the latest decision, the price of 22-carat gold is Tk 10,156 per gram while it is Tk 9,695 for 21-carat of gold, read a press release signed by committee Chairman Masudur Rahman.

The price of 18-carat gold has been fixed at Tk 8,309 a gram while that of traditional gold at Tk 6,870 a gram. New tariffs will come into effect from Sunday, the release added.
