Ramadan special drama serial ‘Porokal’

A special Islamic drama serial titled “Porokal” has started airing on Boishakhi TV on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan. Based on the story of Tipu Alam Milon, the drama has been scripted and directed by Akash Ranjan.

Sayed Babu, Brishti Islam, Abdullah Rana, Neela Ahmed, Mishti Maria, Masum Bashar, Amin Azad, Gulshan Ara, Shikha, Anamika, Afsana Naumi, and others have acted in different roles in “Porokal”.

The story of the drama serial revolves around Mr. Khalek’s family and his neighborhood people. There is no happiness even after having everything in Mr. Khalek’s family. This is because everyone in the family is careless except for him and his eldest son’s wife. There is no discipline even in the month of Ramadan.

Besides, there is a type of people in the society who do show-off on fasting or iftar. They forget the main purpose of the Ramadan month. In general, the importance of holy Ramadan and humanitarian issues are the main objects of the drama.

Tipu Alam Milon said, “Ramadan is a month of self-restraint. But when the month of Ramadan comes many of us become unrestrained. Highlighting these irregularities is the main point of the drama “Porokal”. I hope the audience will learn a lot through the drama.”

The drama serial is being aired at 6:30 pm and 2:40 am every day during Ramadan.
