15 injured as buses-truck collision in Dinajpur

At least 15 people were injured after two buses and a truck collided in Bochaganj upazila of Dinajpur on Sunday morning.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The accident took place in Gangapur area of the upazila at around 9am.

Fire Service sources said a Dinajpur-bound bus of ‘Hanif Paribahan’ from Bochaganj collided with another bus of ‘Shamoli Paribahan’ coming from opposite direction in the area.

During that time a Bochaganj-bound truck losing control hit the bus from behind, leaving 15 people injured.

Dinajpur Fire Service and civil Defence director Amirul Sarkar said being informed they rescued the injured and sent three people to Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital as their condition became critical.
