Raushan to act as opposition leader in parliament, Quader as party chairman: Ranga

Raushan Ershad will act as the leader of the opposition in parliament while GM Quader will perform his duty as the chairman of the Jatiya Party till the council, said party’s secretary general Mosiur Rahman Ranga.

Moreover, the chairman and secretary general of the party will sit and take decision about the candidate in Rangpur-3, Ranga said.

The secretary general of the party came up with the information at a press conference at the Banani office of the Jatiya Party chairman at 11:00am on Sunday.

The leaders of both factions (Raushan and GM Quader) of the Jatiya Party reached a consensus at meeting at a hotel in the capital on Saturday night.
