I love to take challenges: Khairul Basar

Young actor Khairul Basar has already made a mark in the showbiz arena with his performance. He has mostly worked on the small screen but was also seen in a few films. His popular works include ‘Mohanagar’, ‘Networker Baire’, ‘Punorjonmo’, ‘Bagher Bachcha’, ‘Shohore Onek Rod’, ‘Babui Pakhir Basha’, etc. He is currently busy shooting different projects for television. The actor has two films in the pipeline.

The Daily Sun has recently caught up with the actor about her upcoming films, latest projects, and more.

As an actor, which performances are you most proud of?

I haven’t yet done anything to be satisfied with, but I am grateful for the work I have been introduced to. ‘Oshthir Somoye Sosthir Golpo’, and ‘Close-up Kache Ashar Golpo’ are among those. But ‘Networker Baire’ has made me more popular. Then I acted in the web series ‘Mohanagar’. The audience knows me through these works.

What are you currently busy with?

I’m busy with several TV projects for Valentine’s Day. I also have two films in the pipeline – ‘Kajal Rekha’ directed by Giasuddin Selim and ‘Banalata Sen’ directed by Masud Hasan Ujjal. ‘Kajal Rekha’ is a folk tale. Its work is already completed.

‘Banalata Sen’ is inspired by Jibanananda Das’ poem through the director’s eye. The shooting of the movie will be completed by this year. Hopefully, both films will be released next year. I hope the audience will get to see something different.

You have been seen in romantic dramas nowadays!

I’ve done romantic projects for television lately. The audience liked my romantic avatar on screen. Good storylines always capture my attention as an actor, but nowadays there is a lack of good scripts for dramas. I have already acted in different types of characters on the big screens and OTT. I absolutely love taking challenges to explore myself in different characters.

What are your expectations from this year?

I want to continue doing great work that makes me happy. A couple of other projects are being discussed. So, there is a lot of exciting stuff coming up.

Do you have any final message for the readers?

I have always received positive responses from the audiences till now. I may not have achieved a lot, but I am very glad that the audience seems to love me. I’m grateful to my fans for bestowing so much love on me. I request all my well-wishers and fans to keep me in their prayers.
