Binodon desk: Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is set to make her debut in a Bangladeshi film, according to an official Facebook post of Jaaz Multimedia uploaded on Thursday (August 29).

Shraddha Kapoor is going to act in the spy thriller and action-packed movie “Masud Rana”.

According to another official Facebook post of Jaaz Multimedia uploaded on Wednesday (August 28), Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke will be cast alongside Shraddha Kapoor, but the media didn’t reveal who would be the central character.

Bangladeshi-born Hollywood film director Asif Akbar will direct the film. Asif Akbar obtained a higher a degree in Films Studies from Columbia University in USA. He has already directed three films and produced many more.

The media said the production cost of the film was estimated around USD 10 million or Taka 83 crore. The film will be released in Bangladesh and Kolkata in Bangla language and across the world in English language.

The cinema will be shot in Mauritius, Thailand and Bangladesh.

The film is based upon Qazi Anwar Hussain’s Dhongsho-Pahar in other words ‘The Hill of Destruction.’ English title of the film is MR-9
