Zakir Hasan made his debut as Bangladesh have won the toss and chose to bat first against New Zealand in the third and final one-day international at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Monday.

The home management rested the opener duo Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das alongside Soumya Sarkar and Mustafizur Rahman for the tie but included Mushfiqur Rahim and Shoriful Islam.

The Kiwis are 1-0 up thanks to their 86 run victory in the second ODI after the series opener was washed out due to torrential rain
