Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusts or squally wind is likely at a few places and at one or two places throughout Bangladesh for the next 24 hours beginning at 9:00am on Sunday.

‘Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Sylhet and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Barishal divisions’, said a met office press release.

Day and night temperatures may rise by (1-2)oC throughout the country, it added.

The country’s maximum temperature was recorded at 33.0 degrees celsius at Teknaf, while the minimum temperature today was recorded at 16.2 degrees celsius at Tetulia.
