Prime minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday directed introduction of card system for open market sales run by food ministry across Bangladesh.

The PM gave the directive while presiding over the weekly cabinet meeting at her office, said cabinet division secretary Md Mahbub Hossain at a press briefing at secretariat. Mahbub Hossain said that the directive was given to improve the distribution system of OMS.
