Bangladesh has reported hospitalisations of 220 more dengue patients in 24 hours till Sunday morning.

The total fatalities remained unchanged at 266 as no death was reported during this period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.

Among the new patients, 104 were admitted to the hospitals of Dhaka and 116 outside it, said DGHS.

A total of 1,060 dengue patients, including 591 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.

The DGHS has recorded 60,298 dengue cases and 58,972 recoveries so far this year.
