2 minors drown in Khagrachhari pond

Two minor children have been drowned in a pond at Muslim Para under Dighinala upazila of Khagrachhari district on Monday.

The deceased are  Farhan, 2, son of Kamal Hossain and Nusrat, one and a half-month old baby.

Kabakhali union ward 1 member Abdul Alim said that the two kids slipped into the pond while playing near it at noon.

Later, local people took them to Dighinala Upazila Health Complex where doctors pronounced them dead.
