At least 398 people were killed and 774 others injured in 319 road accidents across the country during Eid-ul- Azha journey.

Passenger Welfare Association of Bangladesh disclosed the information at a press conference at Dhaka Reporter’s Unity on Tuesday.

A total of 131 people died in 113 motorcycle accidents during the time, which is 35.42 percent of the total fatalities, according to the association.

During this time, two people were injured and three others went missing in 10 waterways accidents. A total of 25 people were killed and two others injured in 25 railway accidents.
