Covid-19: Daily infections jump to 16,033, deaths 18

Bangladesh reported 18 more deaths and 16,033 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours till 8:00 am Tuesday.

With the latest figures, the death toll reached 28,256 and the case tally climbed to 17,15,997 in the country, a DGHS release confirmed this afternoon.

Besides, the positivity rate rose to 32.40% as the health officials tested 49,492 samples across the country.

 

Bangladesh reported 15 deaths and 14,828 cases in the previous day.
