Bashundhara Group, the country’s largest industrial conglomerate, keeps bringing relief to the cold-stricken destitute in the northern districts by distributing blankets among them.

As part of humanitarian gesture, the Group reached out to autistic children, elderly, widows and physically challenged people in various places of Dinajpur on Saturday, the eighth consecutive day of the noble initiative.

In Bochaganj Upazila, blankets were distributed among 350 cold-hit people including autistic children at the field of Setabganj Pilot High School.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Chanda Pal, among others, attended the blanket distribution programme.

In Nawabganj upazila, hundreds of distressed people received blankets from the Bashundhara Group at the field of Nawabganj Government High School.

Dilip Kumar Saha, Headmaster of Nawabganj Government High School, and other dignitaries of the area were present on the occasion.

In Birampur Upazila of Dinajpur, the Bashundhara Group distributed blankets among 150 ultra-poor people on Medha Bikash School premises.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Parimol Kumar Sarker and Katla Union Parishad Chairman Yunus Ali Mandal attended the blanket distribution ceremony.
