Obaidul Quader asks Hindu community not to be afraid as AL is with them

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has asked party activists to build resistance against communal forces.

“We, along with the countrymen, will unitedly build resistance under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina,” he said.

He made the remarks during the party’s “harmony rally” began around 11:15am in front of the AL’s central office on Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital on Tuesday.

“Do not be afraid, Hindu brothers and sisters. Sheikh Hasina and Awami League are with you. The government of Sheikh Hasina is a minority-friendly government,” he said.
