West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has thanked Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen for his recent congratulatory message for her landslide victory in a by-poll.

In her return letter to Dr Momen, Mamata said Bangladesh and West Bengal are attached together by deep friendship, brotherhood, common culture and heritage.

She also hoped that the love and affection between the people of Bangladesh and West Bengal will further be strengthened in the days to come.

Mamata Banerjee also greeted Momen and his family members for Shardiya Durga Puja in advance.
