Bangladesh on Wednesday saw 210 more deaths and 12,383 new cases of infections from coronavirus or Covid-19.

The deaths and infections were recorded in the last 24 hours, according to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of deaths now stands at 17,052 while the death rate is 1.61 percent.

As of today, the total number of  infected people in Bangladesh is 10,59,538.

Currently, the positivity rate is 29.14 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 14.92 percent.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 42,490 samples were tested in the country.

At least 8,245 Covid-19 patients have cured from the virus infection during this period.

Till date, some 8,97,412 people have recovered from Covid-19 while the recovery rate at 84.70 percent.
