US Embassy in Dhaka has decided not to provide citizens with services amid lockdown.

The embassy issued a press release in this regard on Wednesday.

All US citizen appointments scheduled for the week will be rescheduled to a later date, it added.

In case of immediate need for service, the embassy asked US citizens to contact the embassy via email at [email protected] seeking emergency appointment.

The US Embassy urged US citizens to practice sound personal security measures, including guidelines specified by the government of Bangladesh and always carry a fully charged personal cell phone.
