Electronics factory catches fire in Narayanganj

A massive fire broke out at an electronics factory in Sonargaon area of Narayanganj on Sunday morning.

Confirming the news, Ershad Hossain, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters, said the fire originated at around 10:45am at the factory located at Mugrapara area.

Twelve fire fighting units rushed to the spot to douse the fire, he said.

 

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, Ershad added.
