Renowned dancer Zeenat Barkatullah on life support

Renowned dancer and actor Zeenat Barkatullah has been put on life support at a hospital in Dhaka.

Her daughter Bijori Barkatullah, also a popular actress, shared this information in a Facebook post on Tuesday evening.

Bijori in the status wrote: “My mother is in life support at Anwer Khan Modern hospital. I request to everyone please keep her in your prayers. “As’alu Allah al ‘azim rabbil ‘arshil azim an yashifika.” I ask Allah, the Mighty, the Lord of the Mighty Throne, to cure you (Amma). Allah(SWT) is bountiful most merciful. May Allah forgive us.”

On August 3, her husband and former BTV producer Mohammad Barkatullah died of Covid-19, while she also got infected at that time, but she later tested negative.
