Popular actor Azizul Hakim and his wife playwright Jinat Hakim tested positive for COVID-19.

Their son Muhaimin Redwan Hakim also found infected with the virus.

Ahsan Habib Nasim, general secretary of the Association of Performing Artists, confirmed the information to media.

The actor, his wife and son gave their samples to Bangladesh Specialized Hospital for corona test and the results came back positive for the virus on Tuesday.

“All of them are receiving treatment from their home. The next decision about their treatment will be taken on the advice of the doctor,” he said.
