The novel coronavirus has killed 919,718 people at 11:15 am till Saturday (05:15 GMT) in the  213 countries and territories since the virus emerged in China last December, according to latest data from worldometer.

So far 28,659,727 people have contacted with coronavirus, 20,586,147 patients are now considered recovered.

Besides, the number of active cases are 7,153,862.

Among the coronavirus affected countries, the US has gone up to 197,421 deaths, followed by Brazil with 130,474; India 77,506; Mexico 70,183; Italy 35,597; France 30,893; Iran 22,913; Russia 18,365; Indonesia 8,544; Pakistan 6,373; Iraq 7,881; Bangladesh 4,668; Saudi Arabia 4,213 and UAE 398 respectively, worldometer reported.
