A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has seized 25 trucks of illegal polythene and raw materials used for making polythene in a raid at an unauthorised polythene factory in old Dhaka’s Debidas Lane area on Sunday morning.

The elite force also detained at least 10 persons so far.

The Mobile court started the operation at 9:30 am in the area.

Palash Kumar Bose, Executive Magistrate of RAB-3, confirmed the matter to media, adding they would take further action after the drive.
