The novel coronavirus has killed 841,332 people in the  213 countries and territories since the virus emerged in Wuhan of China last December, according to latest data from worldometer.

So far, 24,912,171 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus worldwide at 11:00 am till Saturday (05:00 GMT).

Of them, 17,300,566 patients have been considered recovered, the source said.

Apart from this, the number of active cases are 6,770,273.

With the fresh tally in the 24-hour, 5,705 corona patients died while 284,090 infections have been diagnosed, and 206,392 patients have made fully recovery.

Among the coronavirus affected countries, the US has gone up to 185,901 deaths, followed by Brazil with 119,594; Mexico 63,146; India 62,713; Italy 35,472; France 30,596; Iran 21,249; Russia 16,914; Indonesia 7,169; Pakistan 6,284; China 4,634; Bangladesh 4,174; Saudi Arabia 3,813; UAE 379 and Malaysia 125 respectively, worldometer reported.
