A businessman has filed a case against five policemen, including city’s Kotwali Police Station officer-in-charge Mizanur Rahman, for their alleged involvement in extortion after threatening to kill him in crossfire.

Garment trader Sohel filed the case with Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Abu Sufian Noman on Monday.

According to media report, the court has yet not come up with the order in this connection.

Court’s process server Shahriar confirmed the news.
