India has reported 29,890 deaths from coronavirus at 13pm till Thursday (Bangladesh Time), according to latest figure from worldometer.

So far, 1,239,693 corona infected people have been diagnosed.

Apart from this, 784,266 patients have made full recovery, the source said.

The number of active cases are 425,537 in the country. Of them, 8,944 patients are in critical condition.

With the new tally around 24-hour, 1,119 people died of COVID-19 while 44,805 corona infected patients have been detected, and 31,216 patients have been considered recovered in the country.

With 1,227 new coronavirus cases and 23 deaths on Wednesday, the national capital New Delhi now has a total tally of 1,26,323 cases and 3,719 deaths, according to Indian Health Ministry.

Maharashtra remains the worst-hit state, with 3,37,607 cases and 12,556 fatalities, followed by Tamil Nadu with total 1,86,492 cases, and 3,144 deaths, the ministry said.

Karnataka, the new hotspot state, crossed 75,000 cases.
