The coronavirus has killed 138,247 people in United States at 14:00 pm till Tuesday (Bangladesh Time), according to latest data from worldometer.

While 34,79,483 coronavirus infected patients have been detected, 15,49,469 COVID-19 patients have made full recovery from the contagious virus.

So far, 17,91,767 are active cases, the source said.

Among the active cases, the number of critical patients are 15,934, worldometer reported.

With the fresh tally in the 48 hours, 123,702 people have been registered with coronavirus while 844people died, and 58,927 have been considered recovered in the country.

In US, New York is the hardest-hit city with 32,395 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University (JHU).  In the 48 hours, the city has reported 52 new deaths, the source said.

Among other coronavirus affected city in US, New Jersey has reported 15,560 deaths, followed by California with 7,099, Florida 4,277, Texas 3,276,Georgia 3,026, Arizona 2,246 and Washington DC 1,438 respectively till date, JHU reported.
