The death toll from Covid -19 pandemic climbed to 446,135 while the number of confirmed cases has reached 82,64,399 globally till  Wednesday, according to the latest data from worldometer.

So far, 43,21,495 Covid-19 patients have recovered from the disease while 34,96,769 are active cases worldwide, the source said.

Among the countries, the US has been the worst-hit with the highest recorded deaths of 119,132 patients and 22,08,400 confirmed cases.

The UK has reported 41,969 deaths, followed by Italy with 34,405, France 29,547 and Spain 27,136, worldometer reported..
