Two more people have died of coronavirus and 42 new patients have been detected in Narayanganj in the last 24 hours till 8:00am on Friday.

“Some 189 corona samples have been tested in the last 24 hours. Two more people have died of the disease and 42 new patients have been detected,” said Jahidul Islam, Health Officer of Narayanganj Sadar Upazila.

Four more patients have made recovery from the disease in the last 24hrs, taking the tally to 25, he said.

Jahidul Islam also said a total of 621 corona patients have been detected and 37 have died of the disease in the district so far.
