Doctor among 17 test positive for coronavirus in Laxmipur

Seventeen people including a physician tested positive for coronavirus  in Laxmipur on Thursday.

Laxmipur Civil Surgeon Dr Abdul Gaffar said a senior physician of Ramganj Upazila Health Complex and four health workers of the hospital were found infected with the coronavirus.

The samples of 238 people were sent for test and the results of 79 were found.

A total of 19 people were diagnosed with coronavirus till Thursday, he said.
